A practical guide

How to use Create Fillable PDF Forms

  1. Choose a PDF with up to 48 pages.

  2. Select text, checkbox, radio or dropdown field types and place them on pages.

  3. Save the new interactive PDF and test its fields in a PDF reader.

Create interactive AcroForm fields

This tool adds interactive text, checkbox, radio and dropdown fields to a PDF. It does not create XFA or digital-signature fields. Placement is based on the page preview, so test field size and position in another PDF viewer before distributing the form.

Processing and limits

Form creation runs in your browser and files stay on your device. The authoring workspace supports PDFs up to 48 pages; large or complex pages may take longer to preview.
