A practical guide

How to use SVG to PDF

  1. Choose a standalone SVG file.

  2. Review the page image produced from the SVG.

  3. Convert and download the PDF.

The SVG is rasterized

The SVG is rendered to a PNG image and placed on a single PDF page, so its artwork will not remain vector-editable. External resources, scripts, styles, linked images and embedded content are rejected.

Processing and limits

Conversion runs in your browser. SVG files can be up to 5 MB. Invalid dimensions or an unsupported SVG may be rejected.

Frequently asked questions

Will the PDF artwork remain vector-based?

No. The SVG is rendered into a PNG image on one PDF page, so the artwork is not vector-editable in the output.
