Make supported fields non-interactive

Flatten PDF Forms removes supported AcroForm field interactivity while keeping supported field appearances on the page. XFA forms are not supported, and other annotations such as comments are not flattened. Review the result before distributing it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit a field after flattening?

No. Flattening removes the supported fields’ interactivity. Keep a filled, unflattened copy if you may need to change field values later.
