A practical guide

How to use Header and Footer

  1. Choose a PDF and select pages.

  2. Enter header or footer text, including optional page and total-page markers.

  3. Set alignment and appearance, then save and review the result.

Text is added over the page

Headers and footers are drawn on top of existing PDF content. They do not create extra margin or move the original page content, so check that the chosen position does not overlap anything important.

Processing and limits

Processing stays in your browser. PDFs can be up to 100 MB and 2,000 pages.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add page numbers in a footer?

Yes. Footer text supports page and total-page markers. Choose a position and review the result to avoid overlapping existing content.
