A practical guide

How to use Merge PDF

  1. Choose at least two PDF files.

  2. Arrange the files in the order you want them combined.

  3. Merge and download the combined PDF.

How merging works

PDF64 combines the pages from each selected PDF in the order shown. Pages are copied into the new PDF rather than converted into page images. Document-level features such as bookmarks, metadata, forms or annotations may not always carry over.

Processing and device limits

Merging runs in your browser, so the PDFs stay on your device. Each input can be up to 100 MB and 2,000 pages. Very large combined documents can require substantial memory and may exceed the resources available to the browser.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the order before merging?

Yes. Use the reorder controls to arrange the selected PDFs before creating the combined file.

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. Merge PDF runs locally in your browser.
