A practical guide

How to use PowerPoint to PDF

  1. Choose a PPTX presentation up to 25 MB.

  2. PDF64 converts each slide into a PDF page.

  3. Download the PDF and review fonts and complex slide elements.

Slides become PDF pages

Each presentation slide is rendered as a static PDF page. The slide order is preserved, but animations, transitions and interactive behavior are not part of the resulting PDF.

What may look different?

PDF64 uses LibreOffice to render PowerPoint presentations. Missing fonts may be substituted, and complex effects, charts, media or layouts can appear differently from Microsoft PowerPoint. Review the result before sharing it.

Limits and processing

PPTX files can be up to 25 MB. Generated PDFs are limited to 25 MB and 500 pages. The presentation is temporarily uploaded for server processing; the input is removed after processing and the resulting PDF remains available temporarily for download until expiry.

Frequently asked questions

Which PowerPoint format is supported?

This tool accepts PPTX presentations.

Are animations and transitions preserved?

No. The resulting PDF contains static pages rather than PowerPoint animations or transitions.

Will every slide look exactly like PowerPoint?

Not always. Font availability and complex presentation features can affect rendering.
